About me…
Tom’s daughter will be turning 2 at the Skills Show final this year so is looking forward to having his wife and daughter there for support.
Why I chose this job…
I’ve always had an interest in cars and motor bikes. I started as a heavy vehicle mechanic at a young age and never looked back. I love the heavy vehicle side, its more physical and harder the light vehicles. It’s always interesting.
My experience so far…
I really enjoyed the electrics task at the national qualifiers. I had never done it before so struggled but the judge taught me how to do it correctly after the task. I learnt a lot from that day.
Looking forward to…
I’m looking forward to the finals but I’m just pleased to be a part of it! I’m really proud that I’ve got this far. I would say to anyone thinking of taking part to go for it!
The future…
I’d love to be a master tech in the future
