Do you have the next UK champion?
The IMI Skill Auto competition is run by the Institute of the Motor Industry and aims to find the top new talent within the industry in Automotive Body Repair, Vehicle Refinishing, Automotive Technology and Heavy Vehicle Engineering.
Competitors are nominated by their employer, college or training provider and go on to take an online knowledge test before the top 30 per stream of high scorers are invited to compete at a live national qualifiers at one of 4 prestigious venues to demonstrate their practical skills and abilities. The top 6 in each stream from across the national qualifiers then progress to the live final held at the Skills Show at the NEC, the largest skills and careers show in the UK, where they will be tested on their practical and theoretical knowledge over 2 days to find the IMI Skill Auto Bronze, Silver and Gold medallists.
