Stage 2 of competition - The Regional Heats 2011/12

The live regional heats are underway so why not come along and watch.  It may be you next year!  You can see SkillAuto competitions for Autotech, Autobody and Autopaint at the following venues:

15th - 17th May Cardiff & Vale College, Cardiff, CF3 1XZ

29th - 30th May Southgate College, Nth London, N14 6BS

14th June South Notts College, Nottingham, NG11 6JZ

21st June Transport Training Services, Crumlin, BT29 4SS

27th June City of Bristol College, Bristol, BS34 8SF

4th July Motherwell College, Motherwell, ML1 2TX

11th July The Manchester College, Manchester, M11 2WH

Exceptional qualifying candidates may have the opportunity to take part in the WorldSkills selection squad, for an opportunity to represent the UK at one of the WorldSkills international events. The 2011-12 SkillAuto competition aims to award medals to competitors at UK Finals but also to search for excellence amongst competitors who may be eligible for Worldskills 2013 to be held in Leipzig.

In order to compete in SkillAuto, you need to have less that 3 years' experience in training and/or employment and to be in with a chance of going to Worldskills you will need to be 22 or younger in 2013.
